In the summer of 1999, within two weeks of having the Speedster back, an European Collectibles customer was in town from Europe for the Monterey Historics. The customer bought the '56 Speedster, and contracted with European Collectibles to restore this car in Silver exterior/Black interior and upgrade the engine, beginning in September, a nine month process. |  |
